The story of Sell on Marketplaces can be traced back to when we just started out selling on marketplaces. Most have heard of Amazon and Ebay, but little did we know about other marketplace types and opportunities. Once we started digging into the world of online marketplaces, we found a new world that took quite some time to learn about. There are resources and information available, but we found it fragmentet and had to piece thigns together here and there. We felt there lacked a place to provide a full overview. Hence, Sell on Marketplaces was born.

Our mission is to to map the worlds marketplaces. We belive that by providing a comprehensive and easily accessible directory of global online marketplaces, we can help other sellers to identify the next market to expand to, and maybe even build a community of likeminded e-commerce marketplace enthusiasts that can share best practices, tips and tricks. We aim to support the growth of the online marketplace industry by showcasing the diverse and cutting-edge solutions being developed by technology providers, consultants and marketplace operators around the world.

As the directory gains traction, we invite e-com sellers from all over the world to join forces to enrich our repository with online marketplace knowledge. What began as a humble initiative will soon blossom into a thriving ecosystem, uniting marketplace enthusiasts in a shared mission to foster collaboration and drive innovation.

The website for Sell on Marketplaces started in july 2024, and is work in progress. It will take time to build out the vision, so we welcome any help we can get to identify missing information, data or marketplaces, so this can become a great resource for all sellers over time.
